WELCOME TO MY COOL HOMEPAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
A TRIBUTE TO MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL PLAYER DAVID BECKHAM LAST YEAR WAS A GREAT ONE FOR English football,Manchester United and,in particular,David Beckham.Qualifying for the World Cup,wining
the championship again and receiving the PFA Young Player Of The Year award made it a very special 12 months for the midfileder. But
while he may have plenty of great memories to look back on,there's potentially even greater rewards awaiting him in 1998.Not only is
the Preimiership again well within United's reach, but but they also look better equipped than ever to land the Champion Cup.As if that
wasn't enough,Beck is also, barring injury,a certainly to spend this summer in France as England aim to lift the World Cup.
Here's something to share about his memories of 1997 .And his thought to what might happen in 1998.
PERMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS (LAST YEAR)
Once Man.United had booked their Championship League quater-final place,
Fergie's men were able to devote their full attention back to Premiership.
Though their European challenge was to falter,The reds didn't look back in
the championship race.United began 1997 in second place, trailing Premiership
leaders Liverpool by four points, but a run of just two defeats in their last
18 games saw United overhaul the Merseyseiders and take the title a full
seven points clear of their nearest challengers,Newcastle.
THE PREMIERSHIP
THE CHAMPIONSHIP CUP United's form in the group stages of last year's european Champions cup campaign didn't exactly set the world alight, but when they hammared Porto in the quater-finals,hopes were raised.German champions Borrusia Dortmund proved to be United's downfall, but when they beat Italian giants Juventus in the final,it was clear how close United had come.
